Racquet Stringing Process

This section describes the process of strining a racquet and provides some detail on how different strining machines perform differently.

This "Process" section is divided into the following areas:

Racquet Checks
Walks you through the checks that will be made on your racquet before restringing is started: The state of the frame, the cause of any previous string breakage and any need for replacement bumper or grommets.

Stringing Process
Briefly describes modern racquet string constructions.

Stringing machine
Describes how different tension mechanisms deliver differing results, the tension method my machine uses and how this might be of interest to you if you wish to receive an identical string job from another stringer.
