For those interested the links below provide access to information on matters vaguely related to racquet stringing or other squash & tennis resources. I've probably sent you to this page verbally to find something we've been talking about.
If its relevant and you would like your website featured as a link please contact me.
My local tennis club. A thriving local community supplying much of my tennis restrining work.
My local squash club from where most of my squash restringing originates.
A squash & racquetball club where I play with the Harwell squash team. An excellent memebers club, well run with youth coaching, promotional events and squash to a very high standard - way above mine!
Roger Bradley is not only a personal fitness trainer he’s also a sports massage therapist. Roger repairs broken bodies. He’s had more success repairing my injuries than any other therapist I have visited. He tells me when he can’t help offering advice on who else I should try but invariably gets me back to exercise quickly through massage and stretching exercises.
More local to me is Anthea Forde who gives excellent deep tissue massage which works well with old crocs like me and would benefit the younger sportsfolk too were they of a mind to consider it.
The novasonic unit is a lightweight portable massage device that helps me treat my own injuries. (Don't be put off by the website claiming it cures everything.) I have successfully used this on my back, my knee, my calves and even on a black eye. I don’t claim to understand how it works other than that it stimulates circulation but it works for me.
